Distribution Projects for Nova Scotia Power

Scotian WindFields Inc was awarded three wind power projects totaling 6MW capacity by NS Power. The projects were announced in January 2010 by Nova Scotia Power as part of an initiative totaling more than 20MW of community-based renewable energy.

The small renewables RFP process was designed to encourage small, community-based projects to become part of the province’s energy supply.

The three Scotian WindField projects are under development and are located in:
  • Granville Ferry
  • Dunvegan
  • Isle Madam
